Product Overview

The 1E-class motors for nuclear power plants are required to operate normally under standard nuclear power plant environmental conditions and to perform expected safety functions under accident conditions.

The main features include:

• Design life: 60 years

• Pump drive performance: At 80% of rated voltage, the motor can drive the corresponding pump to reach rated flow within 6 seconds

• Seismic capability: The motor can start and operate under earthquake conditions

Nuclear Power Applications
